As an insights company our focus is on making the complex simple. We have spent almost 20 years understanding the impact of change on human behaviour and advising governments, businesses, and social enterprises on what this means for them.
COVID has changed the world for the foreseeable future. It is vital that we understand how consumers are likely to adapt their behaviour so that informed decisions can be made for the now, and for the longer term. We wanted to do our bit to help businesses respond to this vastly changed landscape. So, during Alert Levels 4 and 3 we went out to Kiwis to get a read on their post lockdown intentions around travel and tourism, consumer behaviour and participation in recreational and sports activities, together with intentions to attend sporting fixtures.
Data was gathered during the last week of Alert level 4 and the first week of Level 3 from a nationally representative sample of New Zealanders 18+ years.
An overview of the results is summarised in each of the Pulse reports below.
