First and foremost, Simon is a businessman. Simon leads the strategy consulting arm of the business. His business and governance acumen is highly valued by many clients and he is frequently invited to help senior executives navigate complex and uncertain environments.
Simon has held senior roles with a number of international blue-chip companies and is widely regarded as one of the country’s most dynamic economic development experts. He led the post September 2010 Canterbury earthquake economic impact assessments and was responsible for the economic and labour market modelling for the Canterbury region – an initiative that has since been adopted by the Government for use across New Zealand.
